### What is collab?

Collab is a child feature of Hype Engine. It allows projects to automatically exchange their best members weekly with other projects inside our ecosystem. Your Discord members continue to play with "/quests." In addition to their usual quests, they will see a collab feature:

Once you have more than four members playing quests, collab will automatically be enabled for you.

### Does Hype Collab work?

* On average, you will get 3 new members each week from collabs. However, that number ranges from 1 to 150, depending on your partner.
* Regardless, 85%+ new collab members will chat at least once on your server. On average, each server will get 500+ messages from all new members that week.
* The strength of your partner server can increase your member count. However, their engagement and long-term activity depend on how well your server is managed. A well-managed community encourages new users to stay beyond the collaboration period and become superfans.

### How does collab work? - Find collab partners

Go to your Dashboard ⇒ Collab ⇒ Browse Servers, you will be directed to <https://communityone.io/servers/>

For any communities, in addition to data such as online members, we also give you proprietary engagement data such as daily active users and messages per user. Both indicators give you good ideas on the actual engagement of the community.
