2025 Update

If you have been using Spark since 2023, here are some of the updates that you should be aware:

You can now have many Sparks on many channels.

  • You can deploy many versions of Sparks (with different custom prompts and style instructions), each doing a slightly different thing on your server

  • You can have Spark on any number of channels. For example, you can have one channel where Spark automatically answers members' questions instantly. Then you can have five other channels where Spark only responds to unanswered questions.

We've significantly upgraded our search functions, enabling our bot to find more accurate and detailed answers. This is achieved by chunking your knowledge into smaller and finer pieces.

While we still recommend that you give us high-quality content in paragraphs so that it is easy for our AI to read, this is no longer a requirement.

Spark has moved from OpenAI to Gemini: Better conversation

Over the past year, we've noticed that Gemini significantly outperforms OpenAI when it comes to expressions and following style instructions.

Longer context window

Spark is now able to hold a longer context window as a result of moving to Gemini and other memory optimizations.

Upcoming: Learn from Discord automatically

Spark will be able to learn automatically from your Discord knowledge. You can manage all your Discord knowledge bits automatically via our dashboard.

Upcoming: Spark hybrid

When Spark is not confident in answering the member's questions, you can specify how Spark should react in these circumstances: tag you directly, send a message to a private channel, tag the mod role, and more.
